Food Review: Island Creamery

Finally, my 1st review on this blog *phew*

Actually I wanna do this review a week ago, but I don't have much time to write it down (yeah u know, designer -_-)

Okay so here it is..

2 weeks ago, I got a message from my friend, oridusartic, telling me about the restaurant called "
Island Creamery"

"They have a lot of unique choices of ice cream, u should try it!"

Suddenly my food-sense was tingling, so I did some research before going there. I saw a blog that had a review of it and after discussing with my friends, we decided to go there. But unfortunately, I didn't bring my camera on that day, so I promise myself I will come again. (nice alibi)

The first thing that I'm interested about is their "
Chocolate Lava Cake with Ice Cream" and "Hot chocolate fudge ice cream"
Their chocolate lava cake, I must say, is nice. The taste maybe equals to Koi's chocolate lava cake. It took around 8-10 minutes to be served.
The choice of ice cream however, take effect on the overall delicacy. I choose vanilla-based ice cream (cookies and cream), but if you wanna try to mix it with chocolate-based ice cream, or even kahlua ice cream, go ahead (please share it to me). :)
Score: 8.8/10

And for their hot chocolate fudge, I think it's a little bit too sweet, cause it contains the mix of cookies & cream, chocolate ice cream with brownies (I forgot the name), and chocolate syrup. (you can't change the choice of the ice creams) But still nice and delicious, though.
Score: 8/10

Next menu that I tried was Ice chocolate truffle
Hmmm, good, although the taste a little bit flat
Score: 7/10

After tasting the cold-based menus, let's try the hot food menus. :D

The first menu was Nachos French Fries
Well what can I say, it's nachos and french fries with melting cheese and beef, good choice for those who wants light meal. (light??!)
Score: 7.8/10

Next was Island's Beef Fried Rice (I think it's their signature food)
For those who doesn't know, I'm a little bit fanatic for fried rice. And I must say their fried rice is quite nice, although it's not the best fried rice I've ever tasted.
Score: 7.5/10

Overall, Island Creamery is recommended for those who wants to try various taste of ice cream (I recommend the Chocolate peanut butter, Kahlua, and Java vanilla bean ice cream)

And like my friend said, "nice place and nice dessert"

Thanks for seeing, and please stay tune for another review :)
